Native American History
SHRA historians have expertise in myriad aspects of Native American history. In addition to our experience in the history of various natural resource issues, associates have experience researching eastern as well as western tribes. We have extensive experience working with the records of the Bureau of Indian Affairs as well as internal tribal records. Together, we have researched and written on these and other issues:
- Historic fishing rights;
- Historic (or reserved) water rights;
- Historic land use and resource extraction;
- Tribal history.
